Clerk to the Association

The Association of Flintshire School Governors is an independent forum for school governing bodies in Flintshire made up of a nominated representative from each school. The Association:
- Provides an opportunity for governors to form a professional network and share good practice from their own governing bodies and schools;
- is a vehicle for discussion of the latest education developments locally and nationally
- Is a ‘sounding board’ for Governors Cymru, the local authority and the Welsh Government to consult on strategic and policy issues affecting schools, governance and the quality of education provision
- See attached terms of reference for the Association
All meetings of the Flintshire Governors Association are advertised in the Flintshire School Governor Development Programme.
