Cardiff University’s Indoor Air Quality in Primary Schools project event: 21st March 2022 @ 11 – 12:30

On 21st March at 11- 12:30pm the Indoor Air Quality in Primary Schools project dissemination event will be hosted at Cardiff University’s Welsh School of Architecture.

The Indoor Air Quality in Primary Schools is an interdisciplinary impact project that aims:

  • To support Councils and Primary Schools in maintaining good indoor environmental conditions in classrooms.
  • To produce learning resources for children and teachers regarding Indoor Air Quality, Thermal Comfort, reducing energy consumption and using clean energy.

At the event:

  • Hear from teachers, pupils, and researchers about their experience of participating in age-related workshops.
  • Find out about project highlights and engagement with potential stakeholders.

Learn about:

  • How to monitor Air Quality in a classroom?
  • How does ventilation help in maintaining good Air Quality?
  • How do pupils perceive concepts like Thermal Comfort or Sustainable Building?
  • Opportunity to ask questions and attend the free networking lunch.

Who should attend:
The event is open to anyone interested or involved in sustainability and improving air quality in schools. Including: Welsh Government staff, Local Councils, school management teams, those responsible for professional development of teachers and education of school aged children and researchers, students, and other key stakeholders. All welcome.
